  • Thursday 22 September: The Camargue and visit to a manade with lunch at the CLUB - departure at 9.00 am and return at 6.30 pm

In the morning, visit of Aigues Mortes, a town built under Saint-Louis and whose ramparts which have survived intact offer the best example of 13th century military architecture: the bastide, the church of N.D. des Sablons (the oldest monument in the town, in Gothic style), the Place Saint Louis ... Stop at a wine estate for a tasting of vin des sables (wine from the Camargue region).
Lunch at the CLUB.
Visit of Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, a fishermen's village with its fortress church, where legend has given rise to the great annual pilgrimages of gypsy families from all over Europe. Then, discovery of a Manade, a free herd of bulls and cows: welcome by the Gardians, visit of the manade and mini-feast (sorting of bulls, "Abrivado", cows in the arena and "Bandido") before an aperitif of the country and explanations of the gardian on the formation of the Camargue.

  • Wednesday 21 September: Uzès and the Pont du Gard with lunch at the CLUB

       departure at 13.30 pm and return at 6.30 pm
In the afternoon, departure for Uzès, ducal, episcopal and consular city. Visit of the Duchy, whose buildings from various periods recall the rise of the House of Uzès, and walk in the old quarters (Fénestrelle Tower, St Théodorit Cathedral).
On the way back, stop at the Pont du Gard, a marvel of antiquity, classified as a World Heritage Site. It was used to bring water to the city of Nîmes.

  • Friday 23 September: Sète and the Thau Basin with lunch in a restaurant

        departure at 8.30 am and return at 5.00 pm
Departure for Sète. Visit of the old port, the most picturesque part, and the Marine, lined with seafood restaurants overlooking the Sète canal. Boat trip on the Etang de Thau through the oyster beds, the second largest pond in France.
Lunch in the fishing port (Sète specialities).
In the afternoon, walk to Mont St Clair from where the view on a clear day extends to the Pyrenees and the Alpilles. Stop at the Le Py cemetery where Georges Brassens is buried and visit the Espace Georges Brassens where the singer's life is retraced in songs and interviews.
